Terms of Service
Last updated: March 2025
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using Mnemos, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. "Mnemos" is the invoice collection and organization service described on our website and in the app, including related websites and applications we operate.
2. Description of the service
Mnemos allows users to upload, store and organize invoices and receipts, extract data from them (e.g. via OCR), and share that data with linked accountants or clients. Features may include integrations (e.g. Google Drive) and plans may vary. We strive to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change or discontinue features with reasonable notice where possible.
3. Your account and obligations
You must provide accurate registration information and keep your account secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must use the service only for lawful purposes and in line with these terms. You must not upload content that infringes others' rights, is illegal, or that you are not allowed to share. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload and process the documents you add to Mnemos.
4. Acceptable use
You may not: use the service to distribute malware or to attempt to gain unauthorized access to our or others' systems; abuse or overload our systems; scrape or automate access in ways we do not permit; or use the service in a way that harms other users or third parties. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
5. Data and privacy
Our use of your data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using Mnemos, you consent to that processing. You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you upload and for ensuring that sharing it with linked accountants or clients complies with applicable law (e.g. tax or data protection).
6. Payment and plans
Some parts of the service may be subject to fees as described on our website or in the app. Payment terms, billing cycles and refunds will be set out in the relevant plan or invoice. Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of paid features.
7. Limitation of liability
Mnemos is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that the service will be error-free or that extracted data (e.g. from OCR) will be accurate. You use the service at your own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data or business, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability we cannot legally exclude (e.g. in Greece, liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence).
8. Termination and changes
You may stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms or for other legitimate reasons. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends. We may change these Terms of Service from time to time; we will post the updated terms and indicate the date of the last update. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance. Governing law and jurisdiction: these terms are governed by the laws of Greece. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Greece, unless otherwise required by mandatory law.
